Preparing For the Forthcoming IT-Exams

Approach – Creating a Preparation Plan:

First you need to figure out how important your exam is and prioritize it accordingly.  Quizzes test and midterms are important, but not as important as the finals.   On other hand if you performed well on the quizzes, etc this will give you a clue on how you may fair in the finals. Teacher always told you do your homework and of course that does make sense since performing this duty means you are revising what you did in class.  Repetition is the key because every couple of days you need to go back to your past notes and assignments and skim over them carefully.

Finals are not a test it’s only a revision.  Only way to Ace it is to if you have kept up with your studies all year round.  However, there is no need to panic unless you are reading this on the eve of your exam.  Every evening set aside some time for yourself and peruse through your notes and also making some additional notes.  Remember now these notes are at least few months old and you need to recover your lost memory from what you are reading.

The eve of the exam you can either do two things do a quick recap of your notes or carry out a mindless activity. Either way you are now prepared as you possible can be since last night cramming never works.

Executing the Plan:

On the day of your test arrive at least ten minutes early and pick out the best spot.  Let your mind drift aimlessly since worrying about what you didn’t study won’t help you only extensively frustrate you.  If possible stay away from any meaningless conversations since this can also agitate to you especially if they are talking about the predictions of the exam.  Do some deep breathing and organize your thoughts.

Read each question carefully and make a mental outline of each question.  If the test is objective then you have it easier then the ones who are usually take there tests subjectively.   Do your personal best because that what you can really ask for.
