XK0-002 is the only exam included for the Linux+ certification program. By passing in the examination can make the candidates to become 100% certified in Linux plus certification. Passing this examination is not very easy and it requires hard work. Candidates need to concentrate on all parts of the portions/ segments in the exam. The following are the learning segments for the candidates that will help the candidates to prepare for the examination and they are:
1) Installation, identifying as well as maintaining the system hardware- it includes 19%.
2) Troubleshooting- this segment consists 18%
3) Maintenance of the system- this segment includes 14%
4) Administration- this segment includes 18%
5) Configuration- this segment includes 15%
6) Installation- this segment includes 12%
7) Planning of the implementation- this segment includes 4%.
Hence these are the segments involved and all these segments totally comprises of 100%. Candidates will be questioned according with the mentioned percentage of questions during the examination and they need to concentrate with all these segments in order to score at least minimum score. The minimum pass mark in the examination is 675 out of 900 marks. Candidates who have not scored the minimum pass mark can re-take the examination according to their convenience as well as time. However, it is not possible with the candidates to re-take with this exam once they have passed.
